In a small town in Wyoming he raped and molested women and children for 25 years before someone tried to stop him.
The town was mostly Mormon. Young women knew nothing about sex. For many it wasn’t until their wedding nights that they realized that what had happened in his office wasn’t an exam, but was sex.
When a group of them gathered and got up the courage to try to stop him, the patients who came to his defense divided the town in half. After all of the children he had fathered among them, he still had loyal patients.
I’m still reading this book. There are a few others I’m reading at the same time. This is going to be under construction for quite a while. But I’d love to hear what you think of it if you read it.
